Designing a cooking and hygiene survival kit
for newly independent living students
School on lockdown due to the Corona Virus disease, the independent living students were forced to stay at their hostel to prevent the spread of virus through social distancing. As the students are highly sociable beings who were suddenly forced to limit social contact, students often find things to do to keep themselves from getting bored in the hostel.

The independent living students rely on outside food over selfcook due to lack of practical cooking skills. Students living on their own experience frail living conditions, being away from their homes and families and absence of readily available guidance from their parents.
